I got an email from a sweet girl who knew that her mom wanted pictures of her 2 kids for Christmas.

That’s it.

How fun is that?!?!

Mom knew the pictures were getting done.

She picked me. (THANK YOU!!!)

Everything else was a surprise.

She didn’t even see what they were wearing for the shoot.

Talk about perfect weather conditions!

Snow is tricky to shoot in but this day it was PERFECT!

Well, YOU be the judge.

PINIMAGEPINIMAGEUmmmm… Taylor, can I just say your jacket is also PERFECTION!

I love how it looks against the snow!

PINIMAGEPINIMAGEPINIMAGESo, I told Taylor to throw a snowball at Brian… in the face.

I figured it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for her to get revenge on her old brother.

So, honey this pics for you! (where can I find some gloves like that for her?!?!?)

PINIMAGEThank you for hanging out with me!

I had a great time helping out with this fun gift!!

The plan was to photograph this cute family a couple of weeks ago but a couple days before the shoot, Bella fell and got a nice little cut on her cute face so we decided to postpone the shoot.

Well, lucky us!

It snowed the night before their shoot… a lot!

I’m thankful for an adventurous family that was totally game for bundling up and venturing into the snow!

A lot is unposed, just playing, being a family.

That is what I love to capture.

I had the sweet honor of photographing a homebirth.

I am convinced that all babies come or threaten to come in the middle of the night.

I got to the home at midnight and rushed in because soon-to-be mom was already pushing!

She is a strong woman because she had a lot of hard work ahead.

The next 2 1/2 hrs she pushed.

Finally she took a break and so did we.

By 5:30 in the morning, her contractions slowed down and they needed to get to the hospital.

I did not go with to the hospital so I did not get pictures of the actual birth but everything went well and Baby C was born healthy!

I got to meet him at our newborn session.

He is SO sweet!

This family is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!!PINIMAGELook at him watching his mom and dad!

I’m in love with this one!PINIMAGE

Check out their slideshow!

I have been enjoying my kids so much lately!

I’m very thankful for that.

Being a mom can be hard so I’m thankful I enjoy them!

So, I wanted to show them off a little.

Here is my eldest.

He is all about fairness, just like I was as a kid.

He can climb walls just like his Daddy can.

He has a compassionate heart.

And he’s not such a little boy anymore. PINIMAGEMy next one is 362 days younger than her brother.

She came quicker than we expected but she’s so sweet.

She is very thoughtful of others.

She is my very obedient one and very artistic.

She is competitive when it comes to knowledge.

She is growing up too quickly also.PINIMAGEMy next one, came a year and a half after her sister.

Gave us a little break.

I sometimes joke that she didn’t get the memo about being a girl.

She likes to wrestle and keep with the boys.

However, she does do it all (mostly) in a dress.

She can be quite sassy, but she is my hugger and kisser.

I can’t believe she is my youngest. PINIMAGE
